Kelly Erhart read about an interesting way to address climate change, but it was stuck in academia and didn't have the funding for real-world application. Even though she isn't a scientist and didn't have connections to people in this space, she threw herself into creating a solution — and now, at age 26, she's running a public benefit corp called Vesta that's raised $6 million and putting this climate-protecting idea into practice. This is how she did it.
